Unless the Army wakes up, grabs its balls, and fights, eventually "Pakistan" will consist of islands of government control around Lahore, Islamabad-Rawalpindi, and Karachi (and hopefully the nuclear weapons complexes). At least that will simplify things - anywhere the government of Pakistan cedes its authority to the militants can become a free-fire zone for Coalition forces.

I personally think, that the govt of Pakistan has to realize that if they didn’t allowed the peace to be restrained in Malakand and else where, by signing the nizam-e-adl, then everything and everyone would start into long march and i think this tradition wouldn’t be good in long run. For peace and stability we must let them run their district and division the way they want (which is by shariyah rulings). After all even in West many a times in different counties or states, different laws are imposed.

I also don’t think Pakistan was ever made for democracy or for ’moderation’ rather it was made to run the govt by Islamic laws. Islamic laws even have rights for non-muslims, that is if we want to practise it (so all you human rights activists don’t starting bashing on anti-islamic laws). And its not simple to just crush people by using force or military. In past British and Russia have seen that crushing people means more and more Radicalization. Now America has to learn its lesson or they may suffer, the choice is theirs.

Pakistan govt should not use force and start having negotiations, for a reason, coz on each side is a muslim. And a muslim killing muslim? all useless blood shed.

May Allaah guide those that need guidance, ameen.
