Look at the census reports, 50 to 60 million more males than females in the world. They are going to keep on killing females until there are not enough to go around. They don’t just kill females through honor killings either, selective abortions, domestic violence, and forcing children to have babies is killing millions too. Wherever females are not valued as human beings and seen only as property, there is a shortage.

Here we say: If you throw a fruit on the knife or the knife on the fruit, in both the cases the knife is gonna cut the fruit.

Same is case with women, she will suffer in any case.

If she revolts, she dies in the name of honor, if she submits, as it is she’s dead because she’ll be tortured throughout the life

Karim,

I just listened to one of her songs yesterday. A friend told me the incident of her murder as well.

I am really shocked at what’s going on. Such singers of high caliber remain deprived of privileges they deserve.

In such a society as that of Swabi and NWFP as a whole, where singers are never welcome, female singers must be given special security attention i believe.
