Well, everyone wants peace to be restored in Pakistan but not at the cost of its sovereignty. If a gang of criminals can bring a sovereign nation to its knees then not much remains there to be done. Why, in that case, Pakistan does not find a better ally in India? Of course, India and Pakistan are not two cultural entities. Pakistan’s religion is not tied up with Arab bloodless white faces but it has its roots in India.

Pakistan has a history of making these kind of bad decisions. They tried peace talk with Taliban last year and year before that, each time Taliban has taken advantage by regrouping and creating more bloodshed.

I believe this is just one more of many indicators that the Pakistani leadership is so compromised from within that they are barely capable of any independent action.

Bringing Peace Shari law is an eyewash. this deal will strangle the masses with their rubbish rules. Women already have a dismal condition in Pakistan and with this I fear for the kindda treatment they will meet?

this deal will prove nothing more than the start of a fallout that will spill over and over in Pakistan engulfing the rest of areas that are marked peaceful in comparison to NWFP and areas adjoining to Afghanistan.

peace deals and more peace deals and...some more of them...and Pakistan gone. I remember President Asif Ali Zardari vowing to rid Pakistan of Islamic militants after a suicide bombing in Marrot hotel which killed at least 53 people. but the way he buckle down before Militants clearly shows that pak in near to collapse.

As new administration in Obama’s leadership has promised to pull back the troops from iraq and have pledged to focus on Afghanistan, it becomes clear that US will increase measures against terrorists on both the sides.

However, Pakistan has checked west’s patience with the deal with taliban in swat. If pakistan becomes the next target of US then the anarchy in Asia is imminent and it can woefully screw the whole region.

Sorry Owais, no use…Watch for the Taliban to regroup and rearm in their safe haven before they break out again to Afghanistan, move further into Pakistan and also make incursions across the border to India. There will be no peace. How sad for all concerned.

Not only this, they will not rest until they have control over Pakistan nuks ……this is there goal and it will happen very soon… say 6-12 months……. then we the west may want to start building our war equipment to save our self. The new world order is showing itself.

What we are looking at is a large state within two Nation States encompassing the NWO areas of Pakistan and the borders and mountain tracts of Afghanistan.

There can be no peace as the Taliban and the extremists see killing and peace as one and the same.For them all the Nations who do not follow their medevial and barbaric ways of living is an enemy whether muslim or non muslim.

We are looking at the start of a huge religious war that will not spare India, China, Pakistan and Afghanistan...with the potential to ignite Iran as well.

This will be the fountainhead of support to all the terror and drug organizations in the world.Add to this teh arm dealers and youhave one huge mess in the making.
