I experienced a mild case of dengue when I lived in Cebu a few years ago. Mine was from a mosquito bite as I used to go to school wearing a porontong type of shorts. Yes, I think it’s best to wear long pants and long sleeved shirts when there is an outbreak. It was scary but I lived.

Why they are not putting restrictions on the shopkeepers who are trying to make double profits in a situation where they know that people do not have much choice except for buying their products? Isn’t there any govt body who regulates all this?

Instead of cure people should focus on the preventive measures for popping up a disease like this. They should be educated enough to not to keep their environment favorable for the breeding of mosquitoes. General awareness is most important.
