Security has been tightened over the Police Headquarters in Islamabad after intelligence reports of a possible attack on the headquarters. New sources reported the news of an intelligence report warning of a possible terrorist attack on the Police Headquarters in sector H-11 in Islamabad. 
The intelligence report is said to have mentioned that the attackers are likely to attempt getting in the headquarters in police uniforms. As a result, security arrangements have been made strict and police officials are required to get verification of identity at the entrance to the headquarters. All police officials will also need to undergo checking before entering the headquarters premises.
Police patrolling in the city and checking of vehicles has also been increased besides tightening security at government offices and other sensitive buildings. Law enforcement agencies are reported to have started search operations in the wooded parts of and around the federal capital.
