The devastated PC Hotel of Peshawar, the only 5-star hotel in the city, will be rebuilt in two months, vows Saddrudin Hashwani, owner of the PC Hotel. Mr. Hashwani, chairman of Pakistan Services Limited, strongly denounced the attack on his hotel but said that he would rebuild it in two months without asking for any compensation from the government.
Mr. Hashwani said that rebuilding the PC Hotel soon would save Pakistan’s reputation at the international level. In a television interview, he said that it was the government’s responsibility to maintain the security outside the hotel, providing a mobile unit outside hotels, but the government took security issues lightly. According to him, the hotel’s own security arrangements were foolproof.
He said that such attacks would discourage foreign investment in Pakistan. Answering a question, Mr. Hashwani commented that ministers in Pakistan need not be given security and the government should dig out the causes of such incidents.

You may remember the Marriott. It too had a few NSA types on the top floor which, coincidentally was on fire–attributed to ‘gas leaks’.
